Here is a heavy grav tank one of my customers did. He dresses it up and used the critical mass mask on it. I think it looks really good. I love when someone takes what you do and makes it that much better. We have an amazing pool of talent on here

oooh nice, it also reminds of a question I had/have. What are those funny blocks all over it, I have seen that a few times now. It is probably very well known to most gamers, so forgive my dunce like question
Michael.

oooh thanks, found this whilst looking it up: A new technology called electric reactive armour (also known as electromagnetic reactive armour, or colloquially as electric armour) is in development. This armour is made up of two or more conductive plates separated by some space or by an insulating material, creating a high-power capacitor. In operation, a high-voltage power source charges the armour. When an incoming body penetrates the plates, it closes the circuit to discharge the capacitor, dumping a great deal of energy into the penetrator, which may vaporize it or even turn it into a plasma, significantly diffusing the attack. It is not public knowledge whether this is supposed to function against both kinetic energy penetrators and shaped charge jets, or only the latter. This technology has not yet been introduced on any known operational platform. |

@AB Thanks! Not sure I'd purposely want to generate plasma next to my ride, but I felt the same with chemical reactive armor and the disrupting explosion. Still better than a penetration, though. Doug |

Its a really nice grav tank from combat wombat. The paint job is excellent. I have a few questions. Some pertinent some no But
I'm sitting in dentist office
trying to not look scared..lol
As I'm sitting here I have a few questions for you. While I await the pain. 1). Is camouflage going to be obsolete in the future On armor. Perhaps the paint will have in its chemical Makeup a reflective or stealth quality. I'm assuming technology will advance in 10 years Or so. Making tanks obsolete in favor of small drones In the air or land. Is this accounted for. Or does it even matter in our gaming 2). Why did I go to the dentist early 3). How soon can u eat after tooth bonding 4). Why do they play cheesy music in the waiting room
I think their playing "cut the cake" by avg wht bsnd 5 ). Why don't they close the door I can clearly hear the drill From here. Srry for the transgression. But again nice tank. :**( |

I don't think Camouflage will ever really go out. Even with all the tech that comes out, and the fancy optics, IR, Night vision, which all has its purpose etc., they are all susceptible to being tricked, masked, or breaking down. Also much of that tech is limited to different situations, and to have all those techs on one platform makes the platform that much more expensive. I wouldn't want a bright red tank when unbeknownst to me the enemies optics have been compromised, but they can fall back on their eyes to pick me out of the green landscape. Just my 2 cents! ~J |

That looks great. I had my eye on the masking stuff for awhile, it's good to see examples of it put to use.Regarding camouflage, I don't suspect it will ever go but the designs may become either more elaborate or just plain depending on the situations/circumstances. It's cheap to paint on, and serves it's purpose. I would like to see exotic camo, perhaps a strange bright color that an 'alien' race has difficulty seeing? That would be interesting for sci-fi. |
