Thanks for posting, Armand. I'm surprised to see that there's been a 3 year gap since I last painted some civilians and in fact the pictures you've posted go all the way back to 2007!

Oh yes, it's the 18C equivilant to the modern scenario of point your camera at the old hag but really snap the beauty in the background.

It was a tried and tested way of snapping a beauty back then but the artist had to have a quick hand (excuse the pun).

Giles always provides inspiring work. Those Eureka figures are marvellous, and Armand has done well again finding this little treasure.
