Ive got one recipe that I have never used before
(you said 'any help appreciated' right?) Pale Sand for the uni Deck Tan for the 'splodges' Saddle Brown for the 'brown line' lining the splodges. |

jdeleonardis's recipe is one I've used for 20mm looks ok for my basic painting standard. Elheim miniatures have one in their paint guide section which uses dark sand as the base colour. I tried it and found it too dark.I wanted the sun faded look that pale sand gives. elhiemfigures.com/35.html |

Here is my take on it: link Basecoat: Army Painter Skeleton Bone spray paint (for bulk- also available in a dropper bottle to brush on) OR: Vallejo 819 Iraqi Sand Green: 50/ 50 mix 988 Khaki/ 885 Pastel Green Brown: 940 Saddle Brown. :O) |
