Hi guys,

I've just updated my Cerignola info with some random shots of the game at Sheffield Triples. The game won 2nd prize in the best demo game – it was an also ran.

Thanks to everyone who dropped by to say hello. You made it a very enjoyable weekend. Thanks to the Triples organisers for making everything easy peasy.

BTW, contrary to popular opinion this shot was taken an hour BEFORE the show opened.

The game was very nice indeed…the miniatures looked spot on and the paint job was top notch….well done lads!

You get my vote for Best of Show. That is a beautiful looking game table. Terrain, colorful troops, information literature, and even some table shims.

Seriously though, your table demonstrates that one does not have to make purpose-built terrain tiles for every game in order to create a show-stopper performance. I like the game mat and the mottled coloring, and they overlay of nice looking buildings and other terrain pieces, all of which leads to a very playable game.

Excellent presentation. I stopped and chatted for a few minutes (I partially destroyed the earth rampart in my quest to examine its construction in discussion with the host of the game)

I have to say – the winners of the demo game award appealed to my sense of humour – whilst your game appealed to my sense of history.

I really like that over head shot. It is not one that is shown often. Great looking set up.
