Love a campaign! Using Mighty Armies puts icing on the cake! This looks interesting. I'll be following it. What happens when the defeated army starts its next turn? How are losses replaced? Thanks, John |

The campaigns not so sophisticated to track losses, John. Next battle the player will have full allocation (plus any bonus from location or loss from dragon/wizard shenanigans) of army points to construct their army with. The advantage comes from owning the bonus locations. I id consider giving each player a total of resource points to represent their empires war chest. They then have to buy armies from this, but haven't got beyond a vague idea yet. It might then let me do things like have random events where brigands demand tribute, or mercenaries go to the highest bidder and so on. More thought required

Excellent share, been reading up on MA and I am looking forward to giving it a go. I think it will be less complicated than HotT for my kids to get involved with. |
