Yep. That would be so cool. Tony |

It would be, yes. Needs sails, though. Desert winds, and all that. Save on fuel costs. Like steamers with sails in the early steam era. |

Darn cool model. It'd be neat to game with
Looks like you'd need to play 1/18, maybe, 1/32, it's hard to tell
Anyway, it'd be neat to look at plans for the proposed real-world vehicle. I'm curious about what the purposed inside would've looked like? I wonder if the model depicted was eventually just tossed in the trash, or was taken home by a designer who's children got to play with it (!?) or if it's sitting hidden away somewhere

We can easily do this as one of the vehicles in the Fighting Machines book for Hive, Queen and Country. The model would have to be pretty small scale but the drawings will be 15mm and signed by Arun. All YOU need to do support our Kickstarter! We will do the rest! Terry |

I'm sure I've seen this posted before, but I guess I needed the reminding. Either in 15 or 28, would pretty much BE the table, but I've oft toyed with the idea of G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. battles on a multi-decked ship. Even considered taking my started Necromunda bunker-from-plastic-shelves 'board' and making it the hold of a ship. This would be about the same thing. Works for me. Doug |

Col. O'Truth is doing just that right now, check out his blog. His model is a walker however. |

I love it!!! But how unbearably hot would such a steamer get in the desert? Dan TMP link |

"Quarters for the first class passengers will rival those of the finest Pullman cars, and will be artificially cooled to combat the sun's rays." I guess that answers my question. Dan |

Sucks to be steerage. ;->= Doug |

86' long, which is about 26m – so 26cm long for 15mm figures (1/100 scale) or about 47cm long for 28mm figures (1/56). That's not unworkable for a piece of terrain, though I wouldn't have the time to make one myself. [edit] Looking at the link to 'Popular Science', that 86' is a lot less than the 300' suggested elsewhere – which would be about 90cm or 1.6m respectively! |

But how unbearably hot would such a steamer get in the desert? Really bad. Wood decks would help some, but warships could get stifling and they were sitting in water not more than 72degF! |
