DUZI 2004 16. & 17. Oktober '04, Niederrheinhalle Wesel ( near Essen, Germany, north of Cologne )

Official site: duzi.info

To see, who´s exhibiting/having a booth there this year, you need the german version of the website, click on "DUZI 2004" and then on "Halle" in the Navigation bar on the left.

DUZI 2003 was discussed here: TMP link

Here´s the text taken from the site:

"This year the DUZI will take place for the 22st time. Like in the twenty years before tin miniature fans are invited to visit us on the 16th and 17th of october ( this time it is the 3rd weekend ) . No matter if they are painted or not, flat or three dimensional, 6 or 150 mm scale, historical or fantasy, the "DUZI" is home to the whole world of tin miniatures.

But it is not only unique in regards to tin miniatures. There is hardly any convention where the visitors can find that many products by limited series producers of modelling kits, not to mention the share of tin miniature gaming equipment, which is second to none in Germany.
Here are some facts:
Place of event is the city hall of Wesel ( the "Niederrheinhalle" ) , located "An de Tent 1", which is only a five minutes walk away from the train station.
On an area of 1300 squaremetres up to 80 producers, retailers, clubs and private exhibitors present the world of tin miniatures and modelling kits to the visitors.
The stage with a size of 100 squaremetres is completely reserved for the biggest painting competition of Germany with the "Golden DUZI" as prize, as well as the German championchips in painting a 25 mm scaled miniature.
A balcony of almost 500 squaremetres is reserved for tabletop gaming.

The German "FEARLESS" championchip will take place as well as one of Europe's biggest "Warhammer" tournaments for 100 players and a "Blood Bowl" tournament.
Now, what is this website all about?
First of all we would like to give you an insight on the past of this convention. Of course we will as well grant you an indepth look at the "DUZI 2004", its general conditions, its tournaments and last but not least its competitions."

We are there with a small booth, too, selling our 28mm Fantasy & SF terrain

Regards
Harald
