Hey all, just a quick request.

I am currently finishing off a set of rules for 10mm dark ages battles – progress and a better idea of the project can be found here: scaleneutral.blogspot.co.uk

I am sending out a request to all of you who own dark age armies or even units, specifically Normans, Anglo Saxons, Vikings, Franks/French and Bretons.

So what am I after? Basically some photographs of miniatures and armies for the rulebook itself. Although I have done a fair bit of work painting my own armies, as deadline approached, I am finding that a few more examples of other gamers' models and painting style would be a boon. units mounted on 40x20mm bases (warmaster size) would be especially useful.

If you are interested, please send me an email at ihannam@gmail.com and give me the following information:

Your name – for credits in the book
The company/companies that made the models

If your photographs are used, you will of course receive full credit in the book and a free copy of the rulebook once printed – can't say fairer than that!

Thanks,
Ian – Scale Neutral

I've got a shed-load of 10mm Anglo-Saxons and Normans, but unfortunately none of them are beyond the white-undercoat stage. Poor timing, sorry.

Interested in the rules you have though!

… that's just lazy Pete! No 'scuse.

@ScaleNeutral: What is your timeline? I am doing some Mogolian 10mm over the next few weeks/months/years(!)I reckon they'd be a good match for the Vikings.

Thanks for the post Royal Marine!

I'm planning on releasing the first version mid June at Valhalla (16th) so not long to go on that, however, I'm planning to do some free download supplements as time goes on so I would definitely be interested to see your Mongolians!

Thanks

Bit of thread o'mancy here, but just wanted to say a huge thanks to those who got in touch with photos. I was able to use a few of the images I was sent in the rulebook. Thanks as well for those who have said they have pics to send for future supplements.

In the meantime, the book is available to buy at
link

or as a physical copy at Valhalla on 16th June and online soon after! Enjoy!
