Thanks for the pictures & commentary Grigork.
One thing really strikes me – with a few notable exceptions the terrain on most of the games is very poor. Many look like the sort of thing you could put on the kitchen table but hardly the stuff of a premier show.
Are standards slipping or is it gamers just can't be bothered?

Although I love 'wow' games there is a place for everyday games, it depends which aspect of the hobby you want to show off. There were a couple of 'wow' games at Sheffield for their terrain and there were more 'wow' games for lovely figures, plus a few just for the idea behind the game.
