For those of you that had been following my Ork post along time ago:

TMP link

I present an Ork heavy (WIP) tank. It's converted from Battlefront's Russian KV-5 tank. The barrel is a left over bit from Khurasan's Siler tank. The figure is one of GZG mercenary figs (With a converted claw).
The next step will be to 'green stuff' the gaps and and other bits that didn't quite go together as they should.

Any and all comments or suggestions welcome!

Well done. Most real tank to Ork tank conversions just lookalike a real tank with a few random plates glued on, but this one really works.

Nice, will be cool to see it with paint

Really? Would the Orks bother?

Looks pretty darn good work there.

I love this thing! I agree with Ivan -- it helps to choose a certain type of interwar vehicle to act as the basis for an Ork vehicle.

UPDATE- Pretty much finished with the tank. I'm debating about having a smoke plume coming out of the exhausts on the back deck. A project for later perhaps. The figure in the hatch is one of Rebel minis 'Kurgan'. They double quite nicely as orks.

Now to give it some stats and try it out.

Any and all comments welcome!

Certainly looks the part, an excellent conversion and paint job, well done, I have a long term project planned to build around 6-7 15mm 40k armies, I have 2 underway so far, Blood Angels and Death Korp of Krieg, I will be doing Death Gaurd, Nids, and Tau, but the last 1 or 2 are yet to be decided, debating between renegade guard, Eldar, sisters of battle, adaptus mechanicus or orks, after your efforts, maybe I will do orks.

I'd be interested in seeing how you stat that up for Tomorrow's War.

Thanks!

Gunner- I'd love to see pics of ur armies when u get them started.

WarrenABox- Some of the Abilities use the new rules from the soon to be published Dagger and Talon (I'm in the play-test group) so i don't think I can list the stats I'm using for them until its out. If you want to email me tho I can send you the TO&E I wrote when it is published.

Hi JimKlein, I have already started the Blood Angels and DKoK, and have made a fair amount of progress, look under the headings on the right side of my blog for posts.

I wonder if GW realises just what sort of insanely profitable market they're missing out on?

Their loss, that's a GREAT conversion!
