Does anyone other than Bicorne sell these? Looking to do some simple conversions of ECW cavalry and others to earlier (Elizabethan)Border Reiver types.

For starters, I'm looking at the Warlord Games Scottish Lancers and Highlanders – anyone able to comment on their suitability for conversion?

Thanks in anticipation of good advice!

The scottish lancers have three metal figures and the rest are plastic with metal lances. So they will be about as easy to convert as the regular plastics.

Warlord has spare head gear for P&S.

Pretty sure Redoubt do separate heads.

They do, or at least did, quite a variety sold in bags of 10. The big plus is the variety within each type of headgear. The caveat being that they tend toward caricatures facially, not quite the faces usually expected by most 28mm gamers these days.

The headgear are well-modeled for the most part. Also, their figures are more 30mm and would be a bit larger than most 28mm, but they look, IMHO, good alongside Renegade and Bicorne.

Have a look at their website they usually have decent images for evaluating their products.

Cheers,

guinness
