This is a documentary I have been helping with for many years and is essentially based upon my book Ghosts of the ETO. WHile I show up here and there in it, my major job was to keep the director from making historical errors and saying things that could not be backed up.
It's pretty good, although he's a bit nore interested in the fact that many of the guys were artists and 'did art' in quiet times.
Sadly this cut into the time so that some of the more historically interesting aspects of the unit, but few people would actually care about stuff like the enciclement of the German Seventh Army.
Anyway, unlike many military documentaries this one has been vetted by someone that knows the subject. And yes, everyone will get all upset when they learn that NO inflatible tanks were used in the D-day deception- a total myth that TV keeps bringing up.
Watch it. It's interesting.
