Hello all First part of a work in progress post for converting the odious Hanna Montana Mall Madness game into a 15mm spaceport on my blog: link
Hope you enjoy. G. |

I love it! Im going to look at ebay right now |

I like it! I was just thinking that a spaceport scenario, or three would be a lot of fun. Now, just need some futuristically dressed civvies and spaceport personnel to make it a reality. |

Haha Jim I want to see the look on your wife's face when you open that package :) |

That is an excellent piece of work! |

Hannah's Mall, it's not just for zombies any more! |

That is very cool indeed. I wish I had the kind of mind that sees the use in c**p like the original game. |

That is really looking good! I may have to make a trip to E-Bay myself! :D Shawn. |

Working on mine today! I have a buddy that ordered one also. His is going to be the command/engineering section and mine is going to be the trading post. The idea is that it is a station that will be locacted in the Triangle between Federation/Klingon/Romulan space. |

Now that's just all kinds of brilliant. Is that spaceport suitable for 15mm or 25mm? |

I just envisioned the Millenium Falcon docked in one of those bays and a load of 'Those certain fellow troops' assaulting one of the armoured corner entrances

Looking over the original board there seems to be quite a few options for how this could be used. The two halves could be stacked with a a larger opening at one end. This would make a sort of hangar bay setup. You could move the escalator banks to the doors at either end. Could even stack a couple boards. -Eli |

I know the outside pieces have been used in Battletech boards, and the sets with larger steps for zombie-play, but this is AWESOME. And, if you absolutely MUST have figs on the stairs, one can always make little filler blocks. I find Mall Madness fairly oft at thrift stores, though can't bring myself to snag a Hannah version. Don't have anything like that double escalator, though. May break down. This was an electronic version, right? Keep the voice box? I now see you pulled same out, but it would be pretty weird to have it 'speak up' in the middle of a game. Doug |

I've got the voice box in my pair of Hannah's Malls, I'm sure they can be hacked to give appropriate zombie movie quotes ^,^ |

That is brilliant! I'm buying the next on I see at a thrift store. |

Now that's what I'm talking about, very Nice! May have to pinch your helo kit bash :D |

Hmmm. I may have to track one of these down. I can see it as a frontier fort (Starship Troopers style). Paint the walls metallic grey, make the lower shopping levels into barracks built into the walls, and the centre would be the command post, complete with a watch tower. |

Nice – good to see other folks versions. |

Son of a
! A few years back, we sold my daughter's Mall Madness game in a garage sale. I knew we should have kept it instead. Nice work! Looking forward to seeing the completed version. |

<adding another bizarre item to his list of "look-for-at-Salvation Army-Store" items> |

I got one! For a whopping $4.99 USD at the Salvation Army nearby! |
TheBeast | 27 May 2013 8:32 a.m. PST |
Just saw a Hannah version at a Goodwill; had to steel myself against dropping $3.99 USD. Don't think I have the strength if it goes half price. I take back what I said on another thread. I DO need an intervention! Doug PS "we sold my daughter's Mall Madness" Weep if it was the blue/purple box. Has the wide steps sought by Zombie gamers doing Dawn of the Dead. My best friend's son ran an ATZ there with the MM I supplied. My character found the hiding scientist. ;->= |

For those looking at doing this: Mod Podge (aka: Puzzle Saver) works good with paper and cardboard with minimal warping. |

I've succumbed to the madness. Heck, I'd buy a second one, if I could get it for $3.99 USD. Must check out the local Goodwill stores. Now, to find/make some proper shuttles, gliders, and larger cargo craft to go with it. Those will all be landing outside, freeing up the inside to be the main spaceport concourse for the masses. |
| War Monkey | 28 May 2013 9:00 p.m. PST |
Mako11 Thats my plan as well make a few landing pads for around outside of it plus lots of equipment and leave the inside for the action Here is something that you can make for your large cargo craft mil-net.net/hercules.cfm |

My brother and I found one at Goodwill for $2.00 USD and decided to grab it. We've not agreed on exactly what we're going to make out of it, but we are having the upper deck replaced with a laser cut MDF insert. |

Thanks for the suggestion. Ah, I love the look of that dropship, and have coveted it for some time. Might just have to give it a go with construction, one day. I imagine with a little thought, work, and various additions in terms of furniture, etc., you can make the "Mall" into a number of different venues, e.g. airport/spaceport concourse, shopping mall, restaurant district, movie theater lobby (adding adjoining movie sections externally, prison, refugee/zombie holding area, etc. |
| War Monkey | 28 May 2013 10:17 p.m. PST |
Mako11 Yes I do too love this dropship, I have printed more the one set of the templates, and have the foamboard, now all I need is to find the time to get on it, printed additional sets because I want to change it up, from a dropship to more of a cargo ship, sure I have to make the basic one first to see what and how I can modify, for which I'm sure the first build will in time be a dropship, might make one as a crash landing as well. |
