Hello all,

I've posted up a free scenario for Black Powder Napoleonic's on my blog at: link

Quick description:

REAR-GUARD AT QUATRE BRAS (June 19th, 1815)

Following Napoleon's default at Waterloo, the French 7th division has arrived at Quatre Bras to provide a rear-guard action for the withdrawing French army. If successful, the Prussian pursuit of the French army will be halted and Napoleon will be able to reconstitute his forces in safety. Marshal Ney, famous for his rear-guard actions during the withdraw from Russia, has been tasked with this key action.

Enjoy!

It is a "what if" scenario … the 7th division never received the orders and withdrew so when Napoleon showed up at Quatre Bras there was nobody there … so it never happened. But a fun little scenario nonetheless.

excellent… I'm planning to do the same for NaW… The General de Brigade scenario booklets are fantastic. Great source for scenario wargaming…

I love the presentation you did of the scenario and the adaptation to BP

thanks for sharing

Back in the day we played a whole campaign based on a similar premiss. In ours, Waterloo was a bloody draw and everyone pulled back to lick their wounds. Normal service resumed shortly afterwards. A lot of fun.

Nice job.

Will be trying this next game night.
