"Get Gutshot at Comicpalooza May 25 [TX]" Topic

I will be posting more details in a story shortly, but I wanted to let ya'll know that I'm going to be running GUTSHOT: NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEADWOOD at Houston's biggest comic/SF convention. The game will run from 6 – 11 pm.

I will also be running SALOON SHOWDOWN from 3-5 pm

BTW: This is a HUGE convention and has some top-notch guests (like Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Michelle Rodriguez, Boris Vallejo & Julie Bell, Matt Trejo, Jolly Blackburn, etc.).

Don't know if we can make it, partner. We have a rugby practice that day.

Although well organized (I knew where to go, what to do, signs and schedules were clearly posted AND there were always volunteers at the Gaming Info Booth right outside our spacious gaming room the entire time I was there), the gaming just didn't happen at Comicpalooza.

I did run my card game -- SALOON SHOWDOWN -- for some nice people, but my Gutshot game didn't make. This is the first time in several years that has happened. My banner and table set up did attract some attention and I had a few nice conversations, but all in all it was a bust for me.

I may give it another chance next year, but I suspect I'll just run the card game and keep my gear down to stuff I can put in a simple shoulder bag or backpack. I definitely won't go up there with the full compliment of Sterlight containers packed with terrain.
