…. when all true Brits will do this:

1) Stand in the middle of the room, or preferably the pub

2) extend arms horizontally to the side

3) rock gently side to side from the waist, dipping each arm in turn

4) while doing this, sing in a drunken voice "daaah daah dah dah da-dee dah dah…."

5) finish with a chorus of Land of Hope and Glory whilst raising two fingers to Tyranny.

I would have thought 'Wizzo!' would be more like it.

1815Guy17 May 2013 3:03 a.m. PST

I stand corrected, Mr Caine,

"Bravo Zulu is a naval signal, conveyed by flaghoist or voice radio, meaning "Well Done"; in addition to U.S. naval forces, it has also been used as part of vernacular slang within NATO and Allied naval forces. It can be combined with the "negative" signal, spoken or written NEGAT, to say "NEGAT Bravo Zulu", or "not well done"."

Third of the pub on the "tune"
Third on the intercom voices (preferably sat on and around tables in "correct" arrangement)
