These guys are all due for a mid-October/early November release, following the molemen and stone elementals.

As a side note, when this army is released it will make the 10th that I offer, which I feel is quite the milestone. 6mm is a viable alternative to other small scale fantasy figures that may have gone off the market, and come out about 25% cheaper to boot.

They all look very good.

bustapc15 May 2013 5:52 p.m. PST

Love those barbarians!

CPBelt15 May 2013 6:40 p.m. PST

Very nice! I love your figs. I wish you'd also do some sci-fantasy, especially since Epic is OOP.

Where are the other images? Please don't leave me hanging!

earthad15 May 2013 9:53 p.m. PST

wow!

TheCount16 May 2013 2:23 a.m. PST

Some very nice work there! 'Compliments to the sculptor.

Cheers, TC.

Very nice sculpts. I particularly like the hippo-lizard! Question on the cavalry, though (since I don't know the faction fluff) – are those supposed to be very large horses, or are they supposed to be very small riders?

You can check out the War Beast and some of the concept art here.

I sculpted them, so I'll jump in here if that's OK – with 6mm, I find it necessary to exaggerate certain things when sculpting, like heads, hands and weapons on infantry. With cavalry, the mounts are the important bit. Although they look a bit big in a side-on photo like that, they work really well as a unit on the tabletop.

cheers

That is great detail at this scale. Those ogres have serious attitude and that dragon is stellar. I've not painted at this scale before and I admire those who can do it.

Special thanks to Bombshell Games for posting the previews for me early!

I was remiss in not noting the sculptor and artist in the original post:

All minis sculpted by Michael Lovejoy and a good deal of the concepts were done by Jared Blando. If anyone needs concept art done I highly recommend him. Here is his site:

Below are some examples of the art he did for this release.

Love that war dragon.

Awesome work. Some of those will be useful for my 6mm LoTR project I reckon.

Cheers

Oh wow, those are absolutely brilliant. Definitely picking up the entire line when it comes out. I really, really, like the barbarians – especially the swordsman with the horns – glad to see him both mounted and on foot.

Those are really great miniatures, loving the war dragon with fighting blades!
I might have to invest in 6mm fantasy as well, along my 6mm scifi stuff ;-)

geekygamer16 Jun 2013 5:05 p.m. PST

Cool stuff here!
In what material will they be cast? (I am hoping it is plastic).

MicroWorld Games16 Jun 2013 6:30 p.m. PST

Glad everyone likes these! I just sent them off to be mastered, so they are probably on schedule for a mid-October release.

@geekygamer
I am sorry to say, but plastic will likely never, ever be a possibility for me, unless I win the lottery, or sales increase by a factor of 25 or so.
