If you have an interest in the C18th, or the art of fine model soldiers, then you may like to take a look at this:

I bet that will be something to look at.

Sounds very interesting, now then where can I can find £50.00 GBP to reassign from my budget?

I'm interested in the 18th Century but specifically the AWI. So from the webpage I'm guessing this is after that?

Guys,

The book is now on general sale – google military gentleman (and) john ray. It's far from cheap but it is an outstanding piece of work for anyone who loves 18th century (actually 1760s-80s) wargames stuff. Some of the dioramas are breathtaking!

I can confirm this is a very fine piece of work.

A large section covers the AWI as well as Colonial Spain during the concurrent period of time. It also visits the Russian-Ottoman wars, the War of Bavarian Succession and a hypothetical war between Fulda and Wurttemberg. All are richly illustrated by pictures of John Ray's magnificent collection of figures, which he sculpted himself.

If you only like any one of the above periods, I think that you will want to own this book.
