While this may be more accurate…. to the movie.

I like our version:

Terrain is not all painted in that play test shot.

Both of you, way cool!

Agreed – both very cool. How will you handle collisions? Instant BOOM! or a single attack die and no actions as per asteroids?

If your base touches the base of the terrain (i.e. the recycled AOL CDs), then no action..

If you touch a piece of terrain then it is an asteroid role and no action (one attack die).

We are playing around with the angle of impact, and may have it be that you role more attack dice if you hit at a more direct angle (i.e greater than 45 degrees… 2 or 3 attack dice). In our play tests this was not needed to make a Tie Fighter splat.

Does the Falcon need to have a special barrel roll action to get past the obstructions? That would be cool!

Dervel Fezian15 May 2013 6:39 p.m. PST

No special moves for the Falcon, we try to make it so the Falcon can squeeze through (barely)… The pilot has to be good :)

We do not allow Kegel turns inside the death Star (low ceiling).

We were also going to eliminate barrel rolls, but kept them as "nudge moves for the Ties" as long as they do not loose their action by hitting something first.

The game starts outside with the ships having to fly through a small opening in the side of the superstructure.

Well, he is talking about squeezing…

Well actually was trying to remember the K turn maneuver and the auto spell on my I-phone was most helpful :P

In reality the term it came up with may be more appropriate?

Where did the map come from Dervel?
