A community effort free on-line force builder has been released for the Battle Group series of WW II games from Iron Fist Publishing.

The builder comes with complete support for the 17 force lists from both last year's 'Battle Group Kursk' and the just released 'Battle Group Overlord'.

As well as tracking points costs and force orginization restrictions the builder can produce a handy printable roster to aid play.

It's available now at battlegroupbuilder.com and runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPad, Android phone, or any other device with a modern web-browser

That is great. I want to see how well it runs on the iPad.

This is really great! Was it all your own work?

It works well on the iPad except when it comes to printing. Anybody out there know how to print the roster from an iPad?

Yep, Vikingtim, the builder is all my own work. There's a caveat though – it is using the great (and free) JQuery & JQuery UI libraries to do things like make the dialogs as well as a cool JQuery plugin called Isotope for fitting the units together nicely on the printable roster.

That's the way with software development. There's thousands of hours of work in that builder but only a hundred or so are truly mine!

I'm glad you guys like it :)

Thanks for doing the work on this – very useful.

Why would you like to print it if it is on the iPad??

If the usual print solutions for iPad won't work, i suppose you can email you the link and print it on a laptop / desktop

Any plans on including the vehicle stats in the printable roster? That would be awesome
