Comments or corrections?

I'm backing the Kickstarter at a level that will net me a couple of Skirmish sets. Right now, I'm leaning toward Moskovite and Cossack. The addons I'm thinking of getting are:
Gosiewski Foray
Moskovite Border Dragoon box
Moskovite Leaders
Moskovite Light Artillery
Cossack Registered Moloitsy box
Cossack Cavalry Box
Cossack Wagon Train box
Cossack Rabble box
Cossack leaders

I believe that will give me three skirmish forces that can be used with full options (not quite full for the Cossacks, but close enough).

For those that have the rules, is that correct?

It looks correct :-)

Gosiewski Foray is full Skirmish set on its own, so there's no problem here. Add-ons You mentioned will in fact allow You to increase Your Cossack and Muscovite Skirmish sets into maximum level, that's true. Of course You really don't need to field full Skirmish group in a battle, that's the whole point of scenarios system in 'By Fire and Sword'. But such large Skirmish groups then will give You good base for future divisions ;)

And large skirmish forces will also allow you to try out different sizes and adapt to various tactical situations :-)

Thanks for the responces. I realize I don't need full forces, but my thought was it would allow me to play around with variations. Also the Gowsiewski Foray looks to be an extremely powerful force, so I wanted to give the other two some extra to fight it

This looks really good. Doing some research on the rules… might have to invest in this one.

And here's some ideas how Skirmish set can be expanded into division:
