The media loves to pick on a troubled movie like carrions on a bloated corpse. While WWZ's production had been a rocky one, and the movie changed its direction early on which resulted in reshooting the ending, I'm still optimistic that it'll be a good movie. WWZ is hard to adapt to the big screen and is probably better off as a mini-series, but I'm going to see it regardless. And I'm going to predict that this PG-13 movie will be the highest grossing zed movie in history, spawing a sequel or two. Full article here: link |

Going to the movies is too expensive to take a chance on what might be a good film regardless of all the bad press out there on "World War Z". I watched the trailers and it seems that after the title and there being zombies, that's about all it has to do with the book. I loved the book. I can save myself $25 USD (I have to have popcorn when I go to the movies, so that's the extra cost)and wait for DVD. |

I'll wait for a streaming on netflex or amazon no point spending extra money on the dumb army ant zombie swarm. Lots of people keep saying that WWZ is hard to adapt to the big screen. I'm Sorry but that is just not true. The book would have worked fine as a movie as an analog of short stories like the tails from the crept movies and others. There are a lot of examples of movies that are an analog of short stories. |

The critics are already calling it the "Battleship" of 2013
NOT a good sign. One of the changes they made was patient 0 is not in China anymore, but Russia. This was due to not ticking off Chinese censors, as China is a HUGE movie market that Hollywood is trying to break into. And NOT ONCE have they mentioned zombies in any of the trailers or press

And NOT ONCE have they mentioned zombies in any of the trailers or press That's 'cause they don't want spoilers

It would have translated just fine as a Documentary film. |

Further proof that wargamers should not be allowed anywhere near movie production studios. |
