Ever after getting interested in 15mm I've been buying up Matchbox and Hot Wheel toys that I could use for modern and near future props on the game table.

I've decided to take the time and start doing a review of the ones I've found so far. It's a work in progress as I've many to add and am sure there will be new ones. Also, I'm totaly up for suggestions for this sort of thing as well.

I just thought it may be useful or of interest so here is the page address.

Excellent stuff, Uncle Joe.

I have some of these and even have a couple painted up. You can just make out the Bucket Tractor (or was it Tractor Bucket?) and Skidster here:

They both work perfectly in 15mm. You've inspired me to dig the others out and get them finished.

Nice thanks for the info, I'll have to find some of them around here

Another big thanks. I've been collecting cop & construction & 4 wheel for dino-hunting. Plus looking for the odd Gfhostbuster & flintstone types with intention of having an interesting urban car park for demo games.

I looked at stocking matchbox & selling the interesting ones at shows, but you can only buy batches, not individual codes.

Great article. The "box scale" of these kind of toy cars means that just about anything other than regular cars and SUV's has a good chance of fitting into 15mm scale stuff.

I recently bought a couple of the "Trail Tipper" toys to use in 10mm. They look nice alongside my rebased mechwarrior clix and I can see in your review a few more that might work out also. The airport Fire tanker would make a pretty neat 10mm fuel truck.

I'm glad this can be of some use.

Also, I've added a few more sections. Just scroll down that page for the different section links.
