Great AAR write-up! Plenty of description and with not a little suspense. Not having played HC I don't know the rules at all. The amendments you made all sound logical. One wonders how rules can be made better if no one can experiment with them. Will they burn you for heresy now or later? |

sumerand – Thanks for the compliment. Again, the lion's share (should that be (Caesar's share?) of the credit goes to Tim and his group. The burning will have to be later, as I'm absolutely booked through the 10th of June! Chris |

@sumerandaccad – Chris, Tim and other folks in the Hail Caesar group on Yahoo propose and discuss various 'house rules' there all the time, and no one that I know of has ever been branded as a 'heretic' for doing so. In fact the author of HC actively encourages players to tinker and experiment with the rules to suit their own preferences and tastes. And fans of HC tend to enjoy, appreciate and encourage that flexibility. It's quite refreshing, really. Cheers, Scott |
