Brown trousers were common.
The jackets could be darker green.
If you look at quality film of us units, there's surprising variation in colour and shade even within the same unit.

Especially before a big attack! :)

The class A uniform coat and pants were known as 'mustards' by the GI's because of their distinctive khaki green color. The same pants were worn with the class B or field service uniform

If your figures have patch pockets, then they are wearing the green cotton twill fatigue uniform (HBT's) which was used frequently as an over garment or alone as tropical/hot weather combat dress

Nicely done and very apt, my wife, bless her! As ordered me the BA Assault on Normandy for my Birthday, so I will be painting up my own US troops soon. So now I seem to have even more choice when it comes to the US uniforms!
