Very nice brush work. I also use the Perikoi as light infantry or in some rules as peltasts. The Helots as untrained light infantry in a separate unit, with minus dice rolls. I believe one King used his helots to burn down an Orchard which some of the enemy where hiding in! Once again good job with the brush and as always nice basing. |

Lovely figures, and interesting thoughts on your army. I'm working on a 28mm Spartan army and I was working on skirmishers and wondering how to fit these into the army as Spartans or allies. I was going with the idea of using a unit of Ekdromoi, "runners-out", mixed in with the main hoplite phalanx that can split into a seperate unit. I wasn't sure how these guys would look but you've inspired me. |
