I bought a few grav vehicles from GZG at Salute this year.
Grav bikes came with small flying stand to attach underneath, but Scout Sled and High Tech grav tank didn't.

Was wondering what stands people use here for these? As they're grav vehicles, I figure they'd still be fairly close to the ground, rather than whizzing over everyones heads.

Thanks in advance

You could just used the base part of a clear flight stand.

Washers, coins or clear flight stand bases.

As above, plus swapping out for telescoping flight stands for those orbital insertions; high level, high speed flight; and/or treetop level pop-up attacks.

If they are small enough and light enough then you can use our sphere magnets on them. We have both telescoping and non-telescoping versions.

Just add a base and some mounts.

I believe that GZG offers the stands you refer to for purchase. I use the plastic flight stand bases myself as I have way too many lying about.

I used some mongoose ones with these grav vehicles, but cut short and in a hole drilled into the balance point of the model:

What about the bottom of those plastic Champaign cups used for mints at wedding receptions?

The GZG High Tech Grav Tank weighs about 230 grams (I've just finished painting a couple up) and is a heavy model. GZG does sell flight stands in the Buildings and Scenics – Accessory Packs section of the website link though these have a white-metal shank. If doing this project over, I would replace the shank with brass rod for extra strength.

I use little bits of plastic painted black and hide them as best as possible:

You can even get a nice shadow if you do it just so…

I just use 20mm and 25mm plastic slottabases, for the most part. Maybe a chunk of acrylic sprue underneath if I want some height, but I like my vehicles close to the ground.

On a side note…love the UN-ish color scheme

Thanks 28mmMan. The TAS are the people you call in to sort out the disputes between Mercenarys and their employers in the Slammerverse so the colour happens to fit nicely.

What I tried to do was evoke clouds/sky camo as they can be dropped in from higher altitude, so the colour scheme is a 2-fer-1, as it were!
