I have called this post specialized dice roller because I want an app that you can quickly input a number of d6 and will have the ability to add the ''to hit'' number so for example I roll 6 x d6 looking for 5+ to hit, the hits would automatically separate to one side and the misses to the other. At a closer range it maybe 4+ so must be able to input the number of dice and the to hit number easily. Following on from that, for a game like Tide Of Iron, it would be great if a different colour d6 could be inputted at the same time as the attack dice to represent the save dice, again, 5+ separating from the non saves. So basically the question is, do you know of such an application? If not does anyone want to take on a challenge to do this? |

Probably fine for solo play, but more importantly, will your opponents trust your new dice rolling app? |

There are many different dice rolling apps just search d&d dice roller and you will find a few hundred choices. I like the apps that are animated when you roll – but nothing beats my set of real die I have used since 85 |

I struggled to find one like this – for Kings of War you can easily need to roll 30 dice, looking for 4+. I have written a Filemaker Go database applet that rolls dice this way – I have only used this on my iPhone, and have no idea if Filemaker go is available on Android. |

DieDroid does the first bit quickly input a number of d6 and will have the ability to add the ''to hit'' number so for example I roll 6 x d6 looking for 5+ to hit, the hits would automatically separate to one side and the misses to the other. At a closer range it maybe 4+ so must be able to input the number of dice and the to hit number easily. But you'd have to roll the saves seperately. |
