Last week, brought my Dark Elves out for their first Mighty Armies battle, taking on a goblin horde and a leonine force to boot.

Check out the full report here:

Also, one of my opponents wrote up the battle from his side of things. Check out his thoughts here:

Nice looking game! I really need to find some time and get my stuff out for a nice game of Mighty Armies.

Cool looking game! We love the rules! We last played a few weeks ago. Have you picked up the Dark Elf book yet? If not, get it! Great fluff, scenarios, new magic and abilities along with some cool army lists. thumbs up

I have been painting 3 new armies for my oldest son, Sean. I have his Mummy Kings Army done. His Dark Elf is close and then a High Elf one. Then I can finish my own Rat and Dark Elf armies. grin

My son has been working on his Gnome and Orc armies. His girlfriend has a new Lizard man army and is still undefeated in all her games played.

Rebel Mike has a great game on his hands!

Thanks,

John

Looks like alot of fun. I noticed that not all the figures were multi-based. How did that affect the game?

Well, I promised to get mine fixed for next time. Heh.

No, that was totally my error, but the only affect it had was getting me confused about how to keep my characters alive longer.

Oh yes, definitely cool options in there. I think I will leave out the House concepts unless I'm doing a campaign, but there's a lot to work with, even if you're writing your own background (like I am.)

The Mummy Kings are certainly tempting as a next army, too.
