I'm interested in adapting DDM gnomes, halflings, and other small critters as 1/72 fantasy humans and other humanoids. I started doing some comparisons myself and discovered there is much more variation than I thought. For example:
Apart from Sven on the right, these are all ostensibly halflings, but the halfling wizard is half the size of the halfling enchanter to his left. In a way this is pretty cool, as it means there is at least one DDM figure that works as a halfling in 1/72 scale. So I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge of what the size differences are for these miniatures. Are there any other figures the size of the halfing wizard I should know about? It doesn't have to just be DDM: any collectible mini figures will do. |

In the earlier DDM lines there was a cleric, a ranger and Lydia that are similar in size to the wizard. The size of halflings grew in the later releases. |

I was wondering if there was such an evolution, thanks. Would you say that halflings before Giants of Legend were all the smaller size (for example the Halfling Veteran from Harbinger)? Did gnomes undergo a similar evolution? |
