I've got the boys together for a group photo

picture
hopefully they look varied enough in poses! I did try and get agood mix of various poses. I borrowed enough bits from other plastics to give it my best shot. So thanks for looking cheers Russ

None of them are smiling and I think that guy in the back has his eyes closed.

bracken10 May 2013 10:08 a.m. PST

They were asked not to smile, but open or closed eyes were left up to the individual!

Heer, here!

Rrobbyrobot10 May 2013 10:18 a.m. PST

Asked not to smile? Weren't they ordered not to smile?
They look ready for a fight.

bracken10 May 2013 10:27 a.m. PST

I didn't like to order them, I figured over the years they were ordered about enough times! and they didn't look to friendly and they've all got guns!!

Bracken--These look great. Inspiring.

I've been working on Soviets for so long my Germans have been neglected. I use 1/48th scale tanks for my models so a $5.99 USD Tiger has become more trouble than they are worth. After painting the rubber on 16 single road wheels they lost the luster.

These are the Warlord plastics correct?

GROSSMAN10 May 2013 12:01 p.m. PST

Nice work Russ.

Blow it! Show it! Long as I can grow it!
My Heer!

Bravo Two Zero, yep they are BA plastics. I really couldn't get on them to start with, the first five drove me nuts! I ended up almost calling it a day on them, no matter how I painted them they just looked rubbish. I ended up changing my painting style, not too drastically but enough to be happy with the results. My plans are kind of on hold with WW2 for as long as my willpower holds out. I'm trying to reduce the lead/plastic mountain abit!
28mmfanatik, I thought my Heer were here, but it turns out they were actually over here!
Everyone else thanks for your comments and feedback, its nice that people take the time to look,
So thanks guys, cheers for now Russ
