Not many paint the Danish Army which was very colorfull and nice.

I plan a series on this army and its uniforms on my blog for later this year – probably in the Fall.

Without checking my sources, I am fairly sure that the reversed colors for the Heavy Dragoon trumpeter is, regrettably, not correct. I'm not sure about the black crossbelts either, and the pants would more likely have been dark blue.

I am also unsure what the cavalry unit in green faced black is; there were certainly no regular cavalry in the Danish army wearing such a uniform.

Having said all that, it is always good to see someone painting and using the Danes; 1813-14 is when they saw most of their action, aside from Copenhagen in 1807.

Waiting for Blue Moon to release them in 15/18mm. I know it will be a few years yet but I have waited this long.

Gave up hope on Eureka ever doing them in spite of being well over the 600+ limit needed to make the figures for a number of years know.

Agree with Doctor X. I too put my details onto the Eureka 300 club (along with Swedes) and have long since given up hope of them being produced.

Will wait on Blue Moon producing theirs, which may be several years yet. If they are as good as their existing, and increasing, Napoleonics then they should be worth the wait.

I spoke to Nick of Eureka at Salute about the 300 club Danes, he has a sculptor in mind, but there is a back log of work that is ahead of the danes at the moment
