Finally got back around to picking up a brush again. First thing I started working on were some CW wheeled AFV's for my ashies.
Here's the unit card I made in the Gruntz Barracks App for them. As an aside, any game that lets you "build" your own units should have an electronic app to do so made mandatory. Gruntz's barracks app is amazingly handy in making units, works like a snap, and I feel for $5 USD was an absolute steal. It's among one of the best ideas I've seen in wargaming in a long time!

Nice job! I love those vehicles. I didn't paint a window on mine. It seemed like to obvious and fragile a target for the enemy. Thanks, John |

Thanks! I was up in the air about the window as well, but these definitely had the feel of converted civilian vehicles to me, sort of a "technical on steroids" vibe, so I ran with it. |

Great job! Always love seeing Combat Wombat's stuff painted up. Thanks for sharing! |

Now you mention it, they do look like converted civie vehicles. The big blocks of reactive armour added on top, along with the window give them a very makeshift look – in a good way of course! Might have to get some of the 8x8s at some stage :) |
