I've been looking at Fighting 15's on-line store and the price of AB Napoleonic figures has dropped slightly, or at least buying single figures and shipping appears to be a little cheaper. |

I have reduced the price of single figures that are cast in the UK to keep in line with the pack prices, and reduced the price of some brigade deals. Although Royal Mail rates have increased, I have broadened the range for which large letter rate applies, so some smallers orders now cost less to deliver. You can also get free UK postage on orders over £60.00 GBP ex tax ex delivery. There are also some better prices to be had on the few 28mm Wars of the French Revolution figures from Eureka that I cast under licence. I hope to have more fantastic news on prices for another range in the autumn. In spite of the appalling and in general worsening exchange rate with the Oz dollar, I am holding my nerve for now. The euro zone may be in crisis, but it's actually sterling that has gone down the toilet :-) Ian |

Yes I'm told at the club that its now cheaper to buy your ABs from Ian in the UK than from Nic down in Melbourne. Go figure! This currency thing is wierd. But I've spread my bets – pension is in Sterling and salary in Aus Dollars! |

Sparker, not sure how that works: FF sells ABs for 0.75p @ 0.65 = AUD$1.15 each. Eureka price = AUD$1.00 each, ignoring postage on both sides which would favour Eureka clearly. Am I missing something? john |

75p each for a 15mm figure. Wow! No wonder the 28mm plastics are so popular, I had not realised just how expensive the little chaps were getting. |

Ah but to some of us they are worth every penny. |

"75p each for a 15mm figure. Wow! No wonder the 28mm plastics are so popular, I had not realised just how expensive the little chaps were getting." But on the plus side Mr Barton managed to pack as much detail into his 18mm figures as the Perries do in 28mm! |

Am I missing something? Yes: tax. That 75p includes tax at 20%, so the ex-tax UK price is 62.5p. Eureka's ex-tax price is 91 cents. Depending in the exchange rate this can be cheaper or more expensive than the UK price. Currently it's slightly cheaper, but not too many weeks ago it was more expensive. You are also using an average value for the exchange rate, which will not be realised in any transaction. Ian |

But on the plus side Mr Barton managed to pack as much detail into his 18mm figures as the Perries do in 28mm! Which cant be seen on 28's at arms length let alone oversized 15's from AB. I've got enough of them to know regards dave |
