My colleague and I have been writing about the Spanish Army up to the Early Peninsular. I would look at ranges that would be Spanish during the AWI if there are such. The tricorn had become flattened at the front and towards a bicorn. The coats were long with lapels. Possibly some British AWI in bicorns would be fine. The Marine gunners had a type of top hat. In about 1795, the Revolutionary French look was explored where the bicorn became larger and more prominant. Stephen |
