The banner ads are overlaying the first few lines of the thread. I got this before but it is consistent today. I've got Windows 7 and am using Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m. |

Version 26? They're trying hard, I guess. |

I'm using the same version and OS, but do not have this problem. It might be tied to resolution of the screen and the way the website's style sheet chose to present for that resolution. |

I'm not getting this problem on Win 7 with Firefox. |

It's because I have increased the size of the font – I'm old and like big type. When I reduce the font back to normal, the problem goes away. Never mind. |

I know you said never mind. But if I might be so bold as to make a suggestion. I use reading glasses when on 'the machine'. |

I'm using Win 7 and Chrome version 26.0.1410.64 m as well, but haven't seen the problem. I usually have a dozen or so tabs open at once. Maybe that is a workable work around :-p |

I have had this happen, but only with the All Quiet on the Martian Front banner. Nothing else, just that one. |
