Thank you for posting. I've been using your pictures as a paint-guide for my Pancerni. Can you recommend a book? |

Sadly not, only using scans of paintings found online and the watchful and knowing eye of "Kadrinazi" over at the Wargamer By Fire & Sword forum who is always helpful when it comes to picking colors . |

Are there pictures and/or guidance in the rule-book? Also, I like your horses. I'm guessing you prime in white, then wash or paint some kind of black or dark-brown undercoat and then block-paint? It looks really good. |

I paint all my models from a black undercoat, it's just the way I paint. Can't and never could figure out how to paint properly with a white basecoat. Black undercoat also suits my style of painting since I begin with dark layers and paint up towards lighter shades of each color. You can for instance check out how I painted my Winged Hussars in 6 steps on my blog, starting here: link The rulebook only includes a basic painting guide for beginners, going through all the techniques. But there are a ton of pictures of painted units which have been painted historically and which you can use for guidance. |
