I'm in for a human force. Even if I end up not playing this game, the minis will fit into other Weird War games and such. -Eli |

@eli throw some clockwork goblin 15mm or even dp9 gearkrieg in there and you got an awesome wierd war game. they said they will be adding other countries to martian front down the road as well |

did anyone see the SIZE of those models? Look at the gameplay video! They're HUGE!!! |

It looks awesome! And I think its great there is so much HO scale terrain out there that would work perfect. I'm in for the $80 USD option with the big rulebook add-on. |

Looked at it, but all the rewards are for the 300 plus levels, seems they should of just done a preorder. Was looking hard at the sets, but the 80 gets screwed more each unlock. Wrote them and told them to look at the big ones on KS, sedition Wars, Zombiecide, even Reaper, that had a base level around 100 USD, that everyone at it and above got, but they seem to want a small wealthy group of players not a wide base. The models are great, but if they break 1000 pledges they will be lucky, they could have really opened the 15mm market, but not with this. Lee |

Jeez
Enough hating already. Kickstarters are hard to figure and not everyone has the same resources. I really don't see any issue with rewarding based on a tier system. It also remains to be seen how screwed some of the guys who gave away the farm will be when it comes production time. Many of them were one-shot wonders. I know in the board game circles they have cheesed off a lot of potential customers by never making their products available for regular retail so if you missed the Kickstarter you missed out. They are under no obligation to give ANYTHING away. The base pledges are being offered at a discount. There are upgrades and add-ons, also at a discount. -Eli |

The 180 level is the "sweet spot" for unlocks so not sure why you are thinking "all the rewards are for the 300 plus levels". Thats just downright false. Look at the ones running now and 170 is not that far off. Zombiecide season 2 was 150(and made 2.2mil), robotech 140, deadzone 150, etc etc. All those kickstarters you reference are also nothing like this one. Zombiecide and sedition were board games with minis and reaper was just minis. This is an army scale game a la kings or war, FOW, warmachine, warhammer, etc. There will be more of an investment just for the simple fact you need more minis to play the game. |

I'm in for 180
and I think that's the perfect level, for me anyways. |

Myself and a work colleague are separately funding this project – he wants human, I want martian – so we're probably going to swap half our figures with each other :) |

I've been following All Quiet on the Martian Front for some time now. I love H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds and think Alien Dungeon has done a fantastic job on bringing it to the table top as far as the miniatures are concerned. The era alone is very interesting to me, c. 1910, as technology is just beginning to burgeon and there is a sense of innocence to that era. To me that innocence leads to a great fear of the unknown and will foster some great battles on the tabletop. The Martian miniatures are surprisingly very sizable for the scale and there is a nice array of them. They are going to look very impressive on the battlefield. The U.S. vehicles and troops look fantastic too. There is a good variety and some fairly chunky tanks to bring to the front. The Mark IV Monitor is a pretty imposing beast in itself, but the Land Iron Clad Destroyer Class looks like it is going to dominate the table. The future of the game looks to be be well supported too by bringing in the British, Canadians and other "Earth" forces. Even the Venusians are on their way. If this game interests you I'd suggest downloading the rough draft of the U.S. Army they have posted to the Kickstarter. It breathes some life into the vehicles and infantry and makes for a good read (though it is WIP.) It's in update #20. I started with the Full Assault pledge level ($260), but will most likely move up to On The Front ($360) as I'm really liking the variety if figures in that level. I'm just waiting to see more of the meat of the game to see what direction it will take me. There are some very nice add-ons and rewards that have been unlocked and more are on the way. It is going to be an interesting Kickstarter to watch unfold to say the least. It's inspired me to take in a good reading of Wells' fantastic novel too. |

I went for All Out War and I'm looking at the upgrade to the hardcover rulebook that I will get soon if pledges continue at their present rate. I get more enthused by the day! |
