Would the German 3.7 cm PAK 36 be able to defeat the bolted armour of the US M 3 Lee meduim tank? |

Most of the armour on the M3 Lee was rivetted. The M3 Lee was probably pretty safe from the front but a lucky shot could have popped arivet or hit a vision slit or shot trap etc. It would still have been vulnerable from the flank at close range though. |

Riveted or not riveted doesn't really matter unless you hit a rivet. Conical heads on the rivets made it even less relevant. |
