I'm sure i have the uniform spot on, but i'm not to sure if the tack is the correct colour. So if you know different please comment it would be much appreciated.

Excellent piece of work. I think you have the correct colour for the tack and certainly that is how I paint mine.

The Austrian guns were painted in Yellow Ochre. This looks a little orange to me but there was great variation as you know. Possibly a dry brush with yellow ochre to take off a little from the brown inking that you have used.
