Hi all,

We played a Vimiero scenario as a demonstration game at Legionary last Saturday and I've posted a report of the game on the blog.

It was a close run affair, but victory went to the French

Thanks Jonathan,

I reckon that is one of the best wargame battle reports I have read. Nicely written.

Sounds like fun Jonathon,

May I ask whose buildings you used for Vimiero?

cheers

Hi Gustav,

The buildings are from Rusus. I posted a review of them as I painted them up.

I always like your excellent reports and photos of superbly painted figures.
Also, your attention to accurate historical detail is evident and appreciated.
Well done.

I saw it in the flesh and the game was real epic using computer moderated rules. The players simply worried the game and tactics rather than the rule which is very refreshing. Didnt stop the same tactical
Mistakes though! ;-)
