Nice Personally I recently dumped a decent amount of cash on the Commission Figurines Kickstarter. They make lots of shell buildings but at the moment they lack the piles of rubble that you would expect inside such ruined buildings. How did you make your rubble? I may look to do something similar to enhance the stuff I am getting. |

James, I use kitty litter on mine or styrofoam. You have to paint the styro with acrylic paint as spraypaint will melt it. |

I have a modular cityscape in "20mm". Paint base (mine consists of 8 2'x 2'heavy duty styrofoam tiles) a suitable asphalt dark grey and then base the individual buildings on a lighter grey base to show pavement/sidewalk.This also makes them a little sturdier. I have a bunch of commercial type buildings to transition from industrial to residential, although in truth workers' tenements were usually right by the factories. Most of mine is scratchbuilt from various gauges of cardboard with some store bought pieces added. I also have built a canal with raised embankment and modular tramlines too. Good Luck! |

I have never had a problem with spray paint melting foam.. ever
i generally use krylon brand from walmart
i've used it on the foam board, insulation foam for hills and trenches and such
I used something similar to this product for the rubble link mine appears to be a bit more jagged and irregular than this particular product
but i glued pieces of foam to the base to make the rubble seem taller/deeper, then covered the desired area with this great caulk/adhesive i found
