Recently bought a large lot of lead and I'm sorting it out. Here's some figs I haven't been able to identify.

25mm Horses and riders. I'm not sure about the riders, but all the horses except for the second column from the right are Ral Partha. Any help matching horses and riders would be appreciated.

28mm Horses and Riders. Bottom two horses are Essex. Middle left is Garrison. Might be some crossover with the previous pic.

Two Demons

This is the marking on the bottom

Two Ogres. No markings

Small 25mm figs

A few examples of markings

Ral Partha figs, just not sure what kind

Two on Left no brand. Three on Top are essex. Three on bottom are "Wargames figs"

Mystery Dragon. Very Old.

Any help you can offer is much appreciated,
Thanks!

The marking on the demon base is Superior. The ogres are Alternative Armies, VNT3 Orrid Ogres.

In the first photo, the 6-legged horses are the steeds from pack 02-102, Hexatrix Riders:

I have that dragon, missing one wing though.
The small figs are Mini Figs the first 2 might be Picts. That's what I used them for. The next to last guy is Byzantine or Norman, and I'm pretty sure the last guy is Persian, maybe Sassinad.
Spot on on the dragon.

First picture, the 3 horses on the left are elven horses. I don't see their riders though. Most of the Cav is Byzantine, but the bottom 3 may not be Partha. You can match the 2 bow case horses with the 2 riders as Trapetazoi!
The 3 riders to the right of the Teutonic Kt, if they have full face covering, are Cataphracts, and their horses aren't there.

Top pic, bottom row, rider 4th from left is a Tom Meier sculpt from the Ral Partha fantasy collector series (02-025 Deep Elf Cavalry with Lance)1982-87 and goes with the armoured horses on the left.

The figure above him is indeed originally a Ral Partha Byzantine, sculp still available from Iron Wind Metals (horses available separately).

Top photo, the three horses on the left are indeed Deep Elf Cavalry, 02-025. The chap fourth from the left on the bottom row should be riding one of the horses.
The two horses with bow cases in the center are Ral Partha 54-601, Turkish Spahi. Their riders are the three guys on the left end of the bottom row.
On the far right, the top horse may be the Ral Partha Gendarme horse. Below it is the Egyptian Cuirassier horse from Ral Partha. The two horses to the left look like Minifigs.

Photo 9 has four Ral Partha Turkish Spearmen, 54-609.Hope this helps sme.

Second photo is Heritage stuff. The 2 riders on the left may not be. The bottom four are likely Mongols. Top 2 on left are those pesky Persians. Middle 2 on left are most likely Persian/Parthan Clibinari. The next is a Teutonic that I've never seen.

I have some of these:

The Dragon was first released as part of the very old minifigs lotr range;

Pic 2 – Minifigs Pan on lotr horse; Minifigs centaur link

Pic 6 Very Old minifigs – Top row Figs 1+2 probably Picts from the telegraph pole spear era, Figs 3 (bottom row 4) + 4 HYW; Fig 5 (bottom row 2) is a Frank from the telegraph pole spear era. The slinger is a Hinchliffe Celt/Briton; The remaining fig is a Garrison Norman.

Pic 1 top row rider 7- Minifigs – HYW I think.
Pic 10 Roman is Hinchliffe Imperial.

I think some of those Essex are still current and can be ided on the Essex site.

Can confirm this as well. That is Smaug!

Heh, "Smaug" as a baby, then….

Great War Ace06 May 2013 9:06 a.m. PST

First pic, top row of riders, third from left with horned great helm and upraised right hand, is a very, very old McEwan knight. As is the figure in the bottom row of riders in the middle; his helm has a dragon crest on it.

Second pic, left column of horses, the middle one is a Garrison Greenwood Ball barded horse, and the knight in the same row, second from the right with the horned great helm is the matching rider….

Thanks folks. You all are brilliant. I've started a second topic with the unknowns from this and some more figs I've dug up.

ordinarybass07 May 2013 6:44 a.m. PST

Here's the last pic of unknowns. Would any of the first three riders fit the "Lamelar" horse?
