Hi,

While I keep hearing that the Xyston Republican Romans are huge, I've been having trouble finding comparison shots between them and a)other ranges, and b) other Xyston.

Does anyone know of any such pictures available on the inter-tubes?

I can confirm that they are on the 'bigger' side of 15mm, a little large than even the Old Glory ones.

I had a couple of units in my Numidian Army, the Numidian's were Corvus Belle (about the same size as Essex) and they did stand out.

Sorry no pics though

Yes, Xyston Republican Romans are very large. The largest Xyston figures appear to be approximately between codes ANC20100 AND ANC20190. The newer figures seem to be closer to the originals in size. Some comparisons, but unforunately no Romans:

This almost works – Xyston peltast types of the same size as their Romans next to Testudo, and then if you click the right arrow it shows you the same huge Testudoo figures next to Old Glory & Essex.

Thanks gang – I had totally missed the later replies to this post!

My main concern would be if I matched their RRs vs. their Carthos or successors, would it look silly?
