British Paras v Germans 1944. A game we played on Wednesday in which an off course British glider crashes near a church and is attacked by a German force which has come to investigate. In a typical shabby Nazi trick they bring along a couple of tanks to what would otherwise have been a fair fight. Full report on Carls Blog here- Link |

Hey! That's one heck of a fresco in your wargames room although the 'Fire exit' sign suggests it's a hall or class room? Nice report! |

It was an interesting game indeed. We use the clock room at Blagdon hall which is owned by Lord Ridley. The frescos are marble sculptures gifted to the Ridley family donkeys years ago. The room has just been redecorated and not everything is back yet, including the clock! |

Nice panthers. Who makes the church? |
Empires at War | 07 May 2013 7:48 a.m. PST |
The church is from the Hornby railway kits range. I was given a box of 2 of the Panthers by Darren the night of the game. They are by Italieri and took 9 minutes to put together! My kind of kit. |
