Does anybody know of any minis depicting human warriors wearing late medieval armor, without poofy sleeves and wielding two-handed swords?

I have a need for such warriors for a fantasy kingdom. I can do minor conversions if needed, just not looking for Ren. guys with poofy sleeve.

Checkout Demonworld Empire and Isthak foot knights. (Sold by Ral Partha Europe.) You should find what you are looking for there.

I second Demonworld figures. I have a number for my Late Medieval armies. The character sets are really nice.

How do they blend with other manufacturers? they have always looked a bit cartoon-ish to me, but that may just be the Warhammer style paint jobs.

Lots of good suggestions that have led me to a lot of good leads.

As the army being modeled is from a colder northern environment, I might even be able to hide some "poofy sleeves" with puttied on cloaks and pelts.

Puffy sleeves more or less equals Renaissance era figures so just check out that historical era. There was plenty & armor & swords around too.

Some of the Hundred Years War guys are getting pretty puffy :)

I'd expect pretty much any 15mmhistorical manufacturer with a late medieval range to have foot knights with 2 handed swords. Have a look at the pages for pretty much any of the armies in the Storm of Arrows book in theFoGAM wikis my site for a list of manufacturers

Sounds to me like you mean Landsknechts

I'd say you want pre-Landsknnechts, to avoid the puffy /poofy sleeves, so late 100YW or WOTR. Also avoid Swiss.
I think most packs of dismounted knights will have a variety of weapons, so you won't get many with two-handed swords.
