Just posted a bunch of very nice pics my gaming/photographer buddy Matthew took of our 150th Anniversary CAMERONE DAY game this past Tuesday, April 30th. If interested, please check them out here: link Here's just a sampling:

Great googly-moogly! How big is that table?!? Looks
incredible (words are failing me for anything more expressive). One of these days I would love to come visit on a game day. |

Hi Lion in the Stars! I think I remember you wanting to attend the "interactive museum" event, when I ran "Maiwand Day" at the Muzeo in Anaheim. You'd be welcome at my place any time there's a game on, and same for a con or other location where I'm running one, though unfortunately that doesn't occur too often. The table is 6'x12'. "Camerone Day" was actually the first time I layed it all out at max length (as opposed to just 10' long with the sixth terrain board held in reserve) since moving into my family's new place. I used to game in the garage, but the new garage is still jampacked with stuff from the move, and my new home-office is big enough to fit the table
though doing so does not leave much room for work. Luckily since before adding the 6th board for Camerone Day I've been working off-site, so it hasn't created a crisis, at least not yet. I need to do some touch-up repairs to the surface of the boards before I start putting them away. They've sustained some dings since I first built them about 2.5 years ago, just from being loaded in and out of transport for cons, and storage during the move. Hopefully after finishing those repairs I can lay out the battle of Charasiab from the Second Afghan War, using all my rocky woodchip hills, and building a couple more to make the layout complete. If I can finish that by early October, I'll run a game on the anniversary of the battle. |
