I've assembled and painted some of the new Perry 8th Army plastics and taken photos of them alongside some of the metals for the period (Artizan, West Wind etc). Have a look at:

Think I might grab a box of them this week and put together a platoon…now that my ACW collection is good to go for the moment!

Very helpful and very timely. Thanks

The Perrys have discovered the secret of mental manipulation through plastic miniatures. Haven't been involved in WWII for years and then this.

Got the 3x deal at Salute, looking at getting a fourth box to convert into SAS and LRDG.

Wow, the Perrys look tiny.

I think the Perry figures look great, unlike the other, over-scaled gargoyles.

From what I've seen of Perry minis they do seem small compared to other makes, but they do make fantastic stunning little figures!

The other half picked up a set of these from our local model shop this morning.
Very nice looking models indeed. Must pick up the Afrika Korps myself when they come out.

What other figures match the Perry as, afaik, the Perries don't have mortars, heavy machine guns etc

Thanks for this. I was wondering how they would fit in with other ranges.

Perry Minis are soon to release mortars and Vickers MGs in metal. However, the mortars and the MGs in the Valiant plastic boxed sets (allegedly 20mm, but much closer to true 25mm) are a very close match for the Perrys. I am doing some conversions and will post a pic when I'm done.

Have done a 3" mortar conversion, pics at:
