Looks like fun … and you used Epic Armageddon rules ?

bikewrench04 May 2013 9:34 p.m. PST

They are heavily modified EPIC rules.
We've worked up huge lists for the late 80's early 90's.
TO&E's, as well as weapons and vehicles.
It plays very fast as you know, this version is very bloody as well.
Fun!

Your scenics are very impressive. I love Epic. Not seen it used for Modern before. Good idea.

We too modified the Epic rules even starting with SM1 in '90 … they are a good place to start …

I'm not so certain that a Fulda Gap scenario counts as modern at this point. It seems more a historic what if, like the Fashoda Incident.

@ optional field Well the Fulda Gap scenario has been a standard of wargaming since the modern game has been around. Most of the earliest boardgames that preceded the modern miniatures games were modelled on the "next war" which was the confrontation in central Europe.
So modern ish, alt history.
Also I'm old, punk. ;-)

We wargamed Fulda Gap while I was in the Army. It's been a traditional invasion route for centuries …
