I'm in the process of putting together a Victorian collection and would like to include some firemen. I am aware that Brigade makes Victorian firemen , but I believe they are wearing American-style fire helmets that would not be appropriate for London. Can anyone direct me to manufacturers who make 28mm Victorian era firemen with English-style fire helmets? Thanks. Richard |

Maybe convert Napoleonic Dragoon helmets or Crimean War British heavy cavalry helmets. |

Paul and all, sorry about the sloppy writing. I'm afraid that since I have retired, the good old habits of careful proofing are used less and less, and my fingers rather than my head seem to be in ever greater control of what I write. Obviously, what I intended to write was "my best option" not "might best option." Sorry for the careless error; caught it too late for editing. Richard |
