I'm in the process of putting together a Victorian collection and would like to include some firemen. I am aware that Brigade makes Victorian firemen , but I believe they are wearing American-style fire helmets that would not be appropriate for London. Can anyone direct me to manufacturers who make 28mm Victorian era firemen with English-style fire helmets? Thanks. Richard

Maybe convert Napoleonic Dragoon helmets or Crimean War British heavy cavalry helmets.

Paul, that might be might best option. Thanks. Richard

Paul and all, sorry about the sloppy writing. I'm afraid that since I have retired, the good old habits of careful proofing are used less and less, and my fingers rather than my head seem to be in ever greater control of what I write. Obviously, what I intended to write was "my best option" not "might best option." Sorry for the careless error; caught it too late for editing. Richard
